The Arise Program
A 24-month outpatient substance abuse treatment program, Arise was developed in response to the mass incarceration of adult males with violent & non-violent felonies in Oklahoma, directly related to substance use. Arise provides treatment services for high risk/high-medium needs males in the criminal justice system.

1 on 1 counseling with a Licensed Counselor to work on personal issues & progress in their recovery.

Family & significant others are strongly encouraged to participate in treatment.

Learn the science of addiction (Disease Model) and complete dozens of homework assignments concerning the damage caused by their addiction & the necessary life/coping skills.

All clients will be on a random drug testing schedule with a Certified Drug Testing Laboratory. Each client will call daily & will test a minimum of twice weekly and will be responsible for payments.

MAT (medication assisted treatment) for alcohol & opioid dependent clients & Mental health medications for depression & anxiety will be referred to and monitored by a licensed medical practitioner.

Sober living housing is available if needed/required at client’s expense.

Intensive Case Management
Case Managers assist with obtaining: 2 forms of State ID to expedite employment, food stamps, clothing, secure housing with family/significant other, employment application with several businesses that ActionSteps Counseling has established a relationship with, explore obtaining driver's license, and health issues will be addressed. These items are called Responsivity Needs & when these needs are stable, treatment is more impactful & life changing. Workforce development will be accomplished during the client’s time in the Arise Program.
